YouTube error 503 occurs when you watch videos on your iOS or Android device. This error code means the site’s server not available now. This error generally occurs by the connector once either it’s unable to connect to the proxy server or the connection times-out.

Solutions to fix YouTube error 503:-

Here are many solutions to fix this easily. So, follow the below steps:

  • Restart your computer, device or router:-

YouTube error 503 is mostly shown on the website and it is possible that there is an issue with the DNS server configuration on your computer or router. So, simply restart your computer, device or router to fix this error.

  • Refresh the YouTube webpage:-

When you see an error message pop-up saying YouTube error 503 that means there is an error on another device. And this is temporary, so refresh this YouTube video webpage to fix this error.

  • Reload the video after a few moments:-

YouTube error 503 is a common error of the YouTube video page. Once, you get this error then reload this video page after a few moments to fix this error.

  • Clear YouTube cached and cookies:

  • At first, go to phone settings from your Android or iOS device.
  • Navigate to apps section and scroll down to find the YouTube app.
  • Click on the YouTube app and access the YouTube app info.
  • Click on the Storage option and search for the option which says clear data and click on it.
  • It will clear all YouTube’s cached and cookies and reset your YouTube app’s browsing history.
  • Now, restart the YouTube app and check it fix the issue YouTube error 
  • Set APN settings as default:-

  • At first, go to phone settings from your Android or iOS device.
  • Scroll down to the mobile data and select your active data connection.
  • Now, click on the access to the APN settings on your phone.
  • Now, tap on the three-dot button which is under the APN settings.
  • After that, click on the Reset to default option and restart your device.
  • Now, you can see your problem will be fixed.
  • Delete video from watch list:-

  • If you save more videos on your watch list, then you can get an error saying YouTube error 503.
  • So, for quick issues delete some videos from the watch list.
  • Now, you can check that YouTube error will be fixed.
  • Google fix it:-

If, by using this above method you are not able to fix this problem then wait for Google to fix itself. Because it is a Google problem. Here is something wrong with Google’s server then it makes YouTube error 503 and you are not able to access YouTube.
