  • Choose the connection which you want to configure for Google public DNS. If you use the Wifi network then right-click on it and tap on properties. And if you use an Ethernet cable connection then right-click on it and tap on properties.
  • Now, from Wifi/Ethernet properties screen, navigate to the networking tab then go to settings box under this connection uses the following items.
  • Now, choose internet protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and tap on the properties
  • Navigate to General tab, and choose the toggle which is associated with use the following DNS server address and replace the preferred DNS server and alternate DNS server with 8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
  • Now, save the changes and repeat 5th and 6th step with internet protocol version 6 (TCP/IPv4) address and replace the preferred DNS server and alternate DNS server with 2001:4860:4860::8888 and 2001:4860:4860::8844
  • Now, restart your network connection and open your browser. Open YouTube to see YouTube playback error is resolved.
